On April 15th Deputy Fislar unexpectedly passed away on duty after coming into contact with down power lines when responding to a motor vehicle crash. The Kickstand Bar & Grill will be collecting cash donations from now until the ride. They will also be donating 10% of sales May 11th to the family and will be selling separate 50/50 raffle tickets the week of the ride. Please keep the Fislar family and the Hendricks County Sheriff’s department in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this tremendous loss. Motorcycle show is from 3pm-5pm and is a people's choice show. Motorcycles participating in the ride are automatically registered for the show if they choose to participate. Minimum donation of $20. This ride will be on JUNE 15th, 2024 this year. Registration: 9:00AM - 11:00AM KSU - Approximately at 11:00 - 11:15 There will be a buffet breakfast for purchase, provided by the Legion. So come early for breakfast. We will ride a scenic route, then we will come back and enjoy a good meal at the American legion post 33, located at 515 X St., Bedford, IN 47421 (The meal is included with registration). Everyone is invited to participate whether you ride a motorcycle, drive a Vdub, Jeep, rail, or any other vehicle. All proceeds go towards care packages, which are very expensive to ship. It also goes for helping veterans and much more. We purchase items for homeless veterans. We also provide Mother’s Day corsages to the mother’s grandmothers and spouses of anyone currently deployed in the military. We have an emergency leave grant. We do various things throughout the year. It greatly depends on our funds. The more we bring in the more we can do. So come out this year and support us and have a good time with some good people and good food. This ride will be a donation of $25. This includes the ride, meal, ice tea & dessert for the rider and one passenger. If you are in a vehicle, it’s $25.00 for two, then $10.00 for each additional person. We will also have a silent and live auction. (so anyone out there who wants to donate something for the auction please get in contact with us.) We will post much more closer to the event. RAIN OR SHINE! If it rains, please come on over. We will still have good food to enjoy. And the silent auction will still take place. So come on out and join us, and show your support for all our troops and veterans. 🇺🇸 We have a lot of soldiers deployed all over the world.
